Sara Russo studied Methodology of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
During and after graduation she participated in the creation and development of various art workshops.
At the Academy of Fine Arts she holds an intensive course, ‘4 Pittura’ lab, 2000-2004, focused on collective art, performances and installations, including the processing of photographic and video material.
Since 2000 she has worked at Art laboratories in collaboration with several primary schools (lithography and lab painting techniques), collaboration with ‘Progetto Chance’ (lithography lab-leading guys with social problems through art), collaboration with A.I.M.A. Onlus Napoli (Associazione Italiana Malattia di Alzheimer), Art workshop at Agnone primary school, Italy.
Between 2011 and 2016 she worked on the installation and processing of art exhibitions in alternative places in the cities of The Hague.
In 2019 the collaboration with P.S. Performance Site, for the ‘ID- in Between Identities’ project in Den Haag, after which she became a member of the P.S.
